Will and I were married on Cape Cod in June of 2007. I had all the flowers shipped directly to my Mom’s doorstep in Wellfleet, MA and we turned the neighbor’s garage into a temporary flower workshop! On the morning of the wedding, Mary Brandon and I, along with the help of many wonderful family members and friends created all the wedding flowers! For the groom (and avid duck hunter) and groomsmen, we created boutonnieres complete with flowers and duck feathers! Old duck decoys were painted white by my Mom and became not only a table number, but a topic of conversation among all. First stamped with hearts, I then handwrote each guests name and table number on soaps made by the Jackson Hole Soap Co. Obviously, a wedding that I will never forget! Whether it’s a rehearsal dinner, wedding or just an excuse to have a big ‘ol fun party, Dornan’s in Moose, WY is an ideal location. Located at the Moose entrance to Grand Teton National Park, Dornan’s provides a true Wyoming experience complete with a Chuckwagon style cookout followed by self-serve s’more roasting over an open fire pit! Simple wildflower bouquets in terra cotta pots are the perfect accent to family style dining under the Tetons.

Jordan and her husband had an outdoor ceremony and reception at Spring Creek Ranch. Originally from Texas, Jordan wanted to incorporate her roots by filling bouquets and having the guys sport boutonnieres with the ‘Yellow Rose of Texas’! Colorful bridesmaids bouquets and quirky centerpieces atop buttercup linens created a summertime splash not to be forgotten! Combine that with some of the best views in town and I’m sure their guests had a fabulous time! Photography by Carrie Patterson.
